Hanson wins bronze at America's Cup

MONTREAL - Austin Hanson (Topeka, Kan.) has claimed a bronze medal in the BC3 category for Team USA at the America's Cup boccia competition.

Hanson's run to the podium included a 7-2 victory over Canada's Martin Dubois, a 5-4 loss to Canadian Alison Kabush and a 6-3 victory over Agentina's Alberto Stalanich.

The America's Cup competition features 56 athletes from six countries.  The U.S. continues play on Wednesday with the Teams and Pairs competitions.  Follow the team at http://teamusaboccia.blogspot.com.
