Elexis Gillette
Two-time Paralympian Elexis Gillette has become a solid competitor on the international scene in the long jump at the age of 23. He won silver medals at the 2004 Paralympic Games and the 2006 IPC Athletics World Championships, and a bronze medal at the 2007 Para Pan American Games. In Beijing, Gillette once again claimed a silver medal in the men's long jump F11.
Gillette graduated from East Carolina University in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in recreation management. He enjoys sports, and playing and making music on his keyboard.
