U.S. Olympic Athletes

Jeremy Lade

Jeremy Lade has established himself as the starting point guard for the U.S. Paralympics Men's Wheelchair Basketball National Team. Over the past few years, Lade has led Team USA to multiple international victories. Unfortunately, Lade's leadership and playmaking ability was not enough for the U.S. team in Beijing.

Lade, who was injured in a car accident in 1989, was introduced to adaptive sports through a summer camp at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater (UWW) at the age of 13 and has been active in sports ever since.

Lade graduated from UWW with a major in physical education licensure. He has just been hired as head coach of the UWW men's wheelchair basketball team and will lead the team beginning this fall.  Lade enjoys spending time with his wife, playing sports and motorcycling.
